We are going to utilize our new blog to keep our parents up to date with any upcoming events, announcements, closings, and fun activities that go on around our school. A fresh look for 2013!
As you look around our building 2013 has brought us great new remodels in our building. We are using our Step Up to Quality award grant to update our building with new shelves, carpets, kitchen furniture, computer stands, and much more!

All of our new shelves are birch colored.
New leather couches for the library centers in the Toddler, Preschool, PreK, and School Age rooms.
Double computer stations for the PreK and School Age classrooms.
We have a new flat screen tv for the school agers to play the Wii!
A new lego table for the school agers! The boys are loving this!
Announcements/Upcoming Events
- We are now a NACCRRA partner to help support active duty military families! For more information please check with Holly or Corin. If you have specific NACCRRA questions you can call toll free at
1-800-424-2246 or log on to www.naccrra.org. - Parents night out will be Friday, February 8th from 6-9pm. The cost is $20 per child. Dinner will be provided. Please sign up in the office.
- Picture day is Wednesday, February 13th from 7:30-10am.
Our center will be closed Monday, February 18th for professional development. We will resume regular business hours Tuesday, February 19th!
Health and Safety Tips:
We have recently changed the door code to our building. If you are not aware of the new code please ask Holly or Corin to give it to you.
Our center has had several cases of the flu. Please remember if you child has a fever or has been diagnosed with something contagious by the doctor they have to be 24 hour fever free or on anti biotics for 24 hours before they can return back to KinderCare.
Flu Tips:
- Stay home when you are sick. If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue away after use and wash your hands. If a tissue is not available, cover your mouth and nose with your sleeve, not your hand.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. Germs spread this way.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces or objects. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces at home, work or school, especially when someone is ill.
